Has a computer annoyed you so much you started calling it names and threatening it? I already know the answer is yes, I’d be surprised if anyone has had a relationship with our electronic friends that never have involved hating thoughts. I get so angry at my laptop so often I’ve gotten sick of calling it ‘stupid laptop’ and have thus given my Acer laptop the cleaver name Ace. This thing tortures me for fun, it makes my life miserable and having my attitude I now understand why people find me difficult. Most of you are probably sitting there thinking to yourselves ‘I have problems with my laptop/computer all the time. What’s so different with yours?’ Well if you can find me another laptop that has all these problems multiple times a day I will be shocked.
Ace is a lying (enter swear here). It tells me I have three hours of battery left and the battery dies when I’m in the middle of something important that instant or the battery in the right corner is filled to the top and Ace suddenly dies as if it just feels like it. Ace likes to delete the most important things at random times, like my projects that need to be handed in the next day. Or it wipes ALL my important stuff (sometimes even crap stuff I want to keep) whenever it pleases. Whenever I try to connect to the internet Ace then proceeds to kick everyone else off (even my dad connected to the land line) as well as myself and shuts down my internet when I close the lid. And now the overly occurring problem that makes me want to throw Ace out my bedroom window. If I get one little window that says ‘Not Responding’ on the top bar I start slamming my head against something. ‘Not Responding’ is computer lingo for ‘I’m gonna be a *BEEP* and make you wait for three hours’. Worst of all with Not Responding is it is impossible to close the window because it is NOT RESPONDING!!! When I try to close the window it tells me Windows is trying to find a solution and close the window once it does. When I have a Not Responding window for Movie Maker or Word I’m screwed for DAYS. For now that’s all the problems I can remember, there’s little tiny problems that pop up that make me want to scream all the time but since I haven’t been using Ace for awhile I haven’t seen them.
I bought this laptop because I wanted internet connection so I could write stories for my favourite website Fanfiction.net but with the constant problems my entries for my Fanfiction stories has reduced to nothing. That and Ace seems to have problems with the site. My last pathfinder group gave me an excellent little song that I like to sing to Ace when it’s being a pain.

Epicness!!! Ha ha! And when I start singing it over and over, besides sounding mental (since when don’t I?) it makes most of problems resolve themselves quickly!
Apart from computer problems today was a breeze.

Just yesterday we had gotten back from a trip to Portland Oregon. My grandparents had gone also but they were coming back later. As in today. So I had to take care of the 11 month old for the day. Since I suddenly became lazy I’m going to be boring and stop this entry now.
